Well i love my Verizon phone LG Cherry Chocolate baby!!!!! U need to go get one because they are awesome. My Cherry Chocolate Phone is the best phone I've ever had. The phone I have, u can do all the features.

If you like text messaing, the best phone will have to carry a full size keyboard. That means pda or blackberry phones are right for you. The hottest pda phones out there are Blackberry Pearl or the Cinguarl BlackJack. There's a promotion rite now that lets u get either one for free when you sign up with t-mobile/ cingular. Yeah, I really like the Blackjack. You can get it at Cingular. It's basically a hand-held PC, with a camera, it's an MP3 player, and it does many other things. It's awesome!

To be totally compatable with the future, look for what is called a "smart phone". Get one that has Bluetooth, Java, JSR-82, 3D graphics, stereo sound, stereo bluetooth headset support, quad-band, EDGE, and WiFi. Then you will be all set.
