To some extent, I agree it is a nice car, but to be honest, when you consider the ENTIRE package, there are equal to better cars out there and you may want to explore the possibilities. When evaluating a vehicle, look at the entire life of the vehicle in terms of what it will cost you and what you get back in return from the vehicle. I raced an IMSA Audi Quattro for two seasons and wouldn't have changed a moment of the experience, but driving the street version left me flat and flat broke. I am glad you did not get seriously hurt in your accident. No one deserves that. Have a happy holiday! Check out the Volkswagen line of vehicles (they are related to the Audi's, by the way) and take a test drive. If you want something different, go for the Toyota family of vehicles.

I don't know what model year your Audi was, & I am sorry for your loss, but if you're planning to replace it.....
Well lets just say Audi's realiability has deteriated.
Take a look at this years (2006) J.D. Powers Reliability & Dependability study.
This study is of vehicles on the road for 3 years & lists the makes with the least problems - to the most problems during these 3 years on the road.
.
I'll list in their order:
1 Lexus
2 mercury
3 buick
4 cadillac
5 toyota
6 acura
7 honda
8 jaguar
9 bmw
10 infinity
11 lincoln
12 ford
13 oldsmobile
<<<<<<<<<
14 chrysler
15pontiac
16 subaru
17 gmc
18 mercedes-benz
19 chevrolet
20 nissan
21 mazda
22 porsche
23 hyandai
24 dodge
25 mitsubishi
26 jeep
27 volvo
28 audi
29 mini
30 isuzu
31 saturn
32 volkswagon
33 hummer
>>>>>>>>>>>>not reliable
34 kia
35 suzuki
36 saab
37 land rover
Audi comes in at # 28
And that is well below the industry average.
You might as well just replace it with a Ford.
Ford, Lincoln, & Mercury are ALL above the industry average !
In fact Mercury is #2.
Are you an American?
Living in the US?
Remember that no matter which vehicle you choose, & no matter what country it was built in.....ALL PROFITS GO TO THE COMPANYS HOMELAND !

Actually Audi is middle of the road at best. If you consider resale they are near the bottom. I'm glad you liked your Audi but I would suggest that you give Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Honda/Acura, or Subaru a try. These companies blow every one else away in economy, quality and resale value. Audi is hit and miss on reliability. Generally they start having problems either right away or around 90k miles.

well today's cars are better then ever ,i wouldn't say Audi is the best cause there's to many cars out there that can out preform ,handle better, better fuel efficient at a cheaper cost then Audi, but you can say Audi cars are very good .i must say they are really coming along very well but then again it all depends on the class of car your talking about to.

Well, get a new car and no matter what you get it will be grossly better than an audi 100 and you will think the same thing about it too.
