I think it's Dance Hall Dance by Wang Chung. I'll have to watch the movie again to know for sure.

The only song I remember from that movie is when they both dance with the dude that invented that kind of rubber...it was "Time after Time" by Cyndi Lauper....sorry but I think its a different one
