It's Ok. Most people know it is fiction. You'll get flack from people who still hold resentments against their parents for lying, but that goes deeper than Santa. Hope you make millions.

I don't think you'll have too much reader opposition to the idea of Santa being originally from Greenland, but of course he must now reside (with his crew) at the North Pole.

I have heard several answers on were he first began, a few days ago I heard he was from Turkey? But possibly he was from a place either in Texas or Illinois from a small area called Santa Claus. Possibly were the name Santa Claus name originated.

well, don't you think it would confuse some kids about santa being from the north pole.. I mean, it's your book and you tell it how you want.. but i know my daughter would be a little confused because she thinks he is from the north pole
