HI,
I sell on ebay alot. There are several different ways they charge you, in order to sell on ebay , first you have to have a bank acount, and give them that info and then you need to set up a paypal account , you dont have to , but it is a very good idea. Then when you list something there is a fee for each listing depending on a f ew different factors such as how much you start the item out as (listing fee) if you have gallery (35 cents)(the pic next to the auction when you search for it), listing designer (10 cents)(design around your auction) (I have some places where you get these free and they are way cooler than ebays) and you can do other things for your ayuction like bold, highlight, buy it now price, reserve price so your item cant sell for under a certain amount. And then when the item sells they take a certAIN PERCENTAGE of whatver it sold for so that depends oon the selling price. then if the buyer pays by paypal and you have a business account on paypal they take a certain fee for credit card payments. I hope that helps if you have any other questions please email me!!

There are often two charges.
The first is a placement charge. This is for the listing and includes extra charges for items such as bold print, or higher ranking in the list of items.
The second is a commission on the amount of the actual sale.

Nope they don't charge you....they overcharge you. they actually have stupid regulations that make no experience to sellers like no seller comments for deadbeat shoppers. It used to make my blood boil to anticipate days for the phone repairman to come back to study my telephone and that i waited in anticipation of the day that they'd be begging for organization. nicely that day is right here and the subsequent merchandise on my begging for organization agenda is eBay. now to not important to wail.

yes usually it is a percentage
but there are also some categories that have flat fees
you need to ask them and describe what your going to sell so you know exactly
good luck
