True.
My best friend is my lover and we have the most fun together. When you are best friends, you can be so much more relaxed with each other throughout the entire process.
For example, at the end of the session, people who are best friends can just lie there together and share the moment of humor, laughter and general cuddling etc...
When people are not best friends, the end of a session can be someone getting out of bed and going to shower to do something else.
It is much more fun to wake up next to your best friend. I have had both and I prefer best fiends.

Well if you're asking me to try out yours I'll have to ask my wife first!
Seriously: friends make better lovers because they start out as friends, and usually stay friends, if they are nice.

It's harder when friends become lovers because it's like losing twice if it doesn't work out.

in some cases, yes because you know them well and you have their trust and they yours. in other cases, no because you are used to them as just a friend but suddenly you have new feelings for them or they have new feelings for you, making it just plain awkward.
