I would love to visit the Moon. I hope someday that commercial travel to the Moon is a reality so that people can see the Earth in the sky, the stark lunar landscape and experience 1/6 gravity.

As it is now. Without an atmosphere. Forget about it. There's no reason for it.Except to wait for an error to occur and watch yourself or someone else die from suffocation, dehydration, starvation or boiling to death if the pressure suit fails or the biosphere dome has a leak. It's already been done. You'd run out of food and would have to be resupplied from Earth on time or risk starvation. Even that biosphere in Arizona failed. That was a good simulation of living on the Moon. They couldn't do it without having an imbalance of CO2 and O2.

currently the space station is below the Van Allen Belt of Radiation, so far I have seen no spacecraft with enough radiation shielding outside that belt, how come no human in spacecraft has recently or Astronaut gone in a higher orbit above the Van Allen Belt?
