Many bands post 1 to 4 songs on MySpace music pages, and some of those are available for free downloads. I get quite a bit of music from that sight, especially up and coming bands.

Hi,
I found this webiste a while ago and it has been so wonderful! It is free to download the music but it isnt illegal because you can donate money to keep it going so they arent just giving music away for free because people donate. www.yourmp3.net is thw website , also if they dont have a song that you want or like then you can request it, it is awesome, and then they send you an emai notic when they get it!! You can rate the songs , get lyrics. Just make sure you read the instructions for downloading. Also if download doesnt work the first time try it again it usually works the second time if by some slim chance that it failed the first time. If you have any question please email!! Oh yeah ansd it is very safe, I have never got a virus or anything, the downloads are fast and website has never locked up on me!!

I use two different places to download music. The one I use most often is LimeWire. It's ENTIRELY free, and very easy to use. If you go to limewire.com you can download the free software, and from there you can download songs, videos, etc. The other site I use is mp3000.net. It's simple, you just type in the artist/title, and the rest is explained there. Have fun!

Most of the times only steady way to be able to download music for "free" is by a p2p program or bittorrent, none of it is really safe- there are worms and viruses everywhere..

Try Amazon.com for time limited mp3s... otherwise, you're asking for trouble from the copyright police.
