Do not need to be "Muscular". A nicely toned body with a light tan to emphasize the body lines goes alot further for me.
Shoulders are 2nd fav part of man for me --- so having a toned body that accentuates them is nice.
But on another note --- the most important thing is that you are comfortable and enjoy the way you look and feel. If wife can't appreciate it then send me a pic ..... I'll give you a honest rating.

maybe she is insecure that you are going to be hot and find someone else. Try romancing her and giving her a little more attention. Let her know she is still the only one for you no matter how you look. a tan may help you but I do not think it will make a difference to her. do not forget that looks are not everything and when the lights go out it is the person on the inside that needs to be attractive.

Good for you and you should be proud...but obviously your wife loves you for you and not your pecs or your tan.
And as for personal tastes in men, we are all different.
I have a friend who totally finds muscularly cut guys hot. I on the other hand dig a man who may be built but isn't cut. I don't really care for muscle definition unless of course when he's really using them, then its nice to see.

Vain much? How much attention do you pay your wife when she drops a few pounds. If you did this just to feel better, why would it matter what anyone thinks. I personally do not like big bulky muscles, they don't look natural.

Its going to take your wife a little while to get used to the new you. This isn't who she married so she may just be a little weirded out. She may also not like the extra attention that it is bringing you. Just give her time and keep reassuring her that she's the only one you want.

I always forget that a baggy, modest shirt might as well be no shirt at all when I bend over. I should bend down like a lady, but I'm short and set in my ways.

Cool for you, feeling good and nothing better than a strong man with good circulation. (hee-hee)
Females aren't geared the same as men... Men like to LOOK, women like "sweet nothings", "thoughtful gestures", "intoxicating conversation"..... and the muscles, that's all gravy.
Try LISTENING to her.... by asking questions that show her you are listening.
Or by remembering how she likes her coffee or whatever?
Try picking up after yourself and/or the kids without her having to ASK for help.
Go for a walk and hold her hand... tell her how beautiful you still think she is.

Sweetheart, you look fine....I do like a man about your size and there is nothing wrong with it as long as you're not looking all swole and stuff....I don't like someone who looks like they are hurting..She notices you but she just doesn't want to give you y our props and you are bragging now so I know you are really bragging around your wife.

Good for you. Most women like the strong guy but then you have those that it really doesn't matter to them, and that might be your wife.

Maybe she is insecure about the change in you and the newly found confidence. I just lost 45 pounds in a couple months and my fiance hasn't said one damn word about it!
