Are you crawling over other people to do it, are you stuck at the bottom or are you percariously dangling at the top?

I'll get up a few rungs and meet someone.... we start to talking and team up to help one another up the ladder. Inevitably.... that person then starts to realize that teaming up might not be such a good thing. They start looking at me and realizing that in truth.... only one of us will fit on that top rung. So the team work all of a sudden takes a turn and I fid my "partner" then takes on a roll of competitor. I like the process of climbing. I don't need the top rung. I just wanted to enjoy "the getting there." So I will back down the ladder and let my old 'friend' continue rising while I make my way back down to the bottom. If I am lucky.... one day I will find someone that truly understands rising to the top......together as one.

Are you not getting a bit personal here? That is a very sensitive question? I have been working so hard and have lived with rejection for many years, more than I would like to count. The Ladder is still there and in my dreams they have gone from flying to mud up to the knees. What gives? I wrote the Theory of Everything and I do not even get criticism.

I'm climbing alright....and my ladder leads to heaven. The thing is, is that there's people in my way most of the time, so I have to pace myself. But it's a really fun climb and when I get to the top, I know the view will be fabulous :)

I have to admit,I have a fear of ladders...I refuse to climb any ladder,no matter how short or tall...no matter where it leads to.
I will stay safely grounded and walk on the road I am on right now.

As of a phone call just made to my car guy, it looks like i'm stuck at home.

Which feels like 'nowhere' at the moment.

I'm so frustrated right now.

I want to go somewhere, i want to feel small next to all the mountains, i want silence, i want to drink coffee on a highway...

But instead, i'm stuck here.. sniffling my way through another day wasted.

I'm climbing the ladder FAST... it's just that someone pushed the ladder over.... I'm climbing, and yet I'm falling.

I'm in the middle, and I much rather use the far and lonely ladder.

I trod on no one, but I do feel like I am stuck on the bottom rung.

I certainly hope not. Otherwise I would have to consider my entire life a total waste of time.
