You need to go to the doctors. I just got over the worst cough I had in my life and it ended up being Acute Asthmatic Bronchitis. You don't need to have asthma to get it. It's been going around this year...

Hi, I'm also 5 months pregnant and I was having a really sore throat the other day and the guys here told me I can take Halls cough drops, my doctor comfirmed it and now I'm taking 3-4 of these per day and I feel so much better!!!
I also drink a lot of orange juice (it has plenty of Vitamin C, which helps your body fight the infections). I also reccomend good sleep, hot tea (just make sure it doesn't have too much caffeine) and a lot of fruits and veggetables.
I hope that helps.

Sometimes the doc can precribe you some cold meds or suggest something to use. If you have a healthy pregnancy and you are over 3 months along you can take over the counter meds such as tylenol cold & sinus , mucinex, vicks 44, Robitussin, or Humibid. But call and ask your doc first. Good luck!

Talk to your doctor. Taking meds during pregnancy can be dangerous. Only a doctor or pharmacist can help you with this one.
You can try hot honey and lemon to sooth the throat but you really need to see a doctor.
