Assuming hymn cards carry a number on one side only, what is the MINIMUM number that need to be stocked in order to cater for every possible hymn number from 1 to 999 inclusive when up to four hymns are sung at any given service?

1) 9 of each digit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 = 63 cards
2) 8 of digit 0
3) 12 of digit 6/9 since it goes either way up.
