Yes I do. A lot of people don't like Harry Potter because it has an old storyline, yes it does have an old storyline, one of the oldest in fact. The story has been used hundreds of times in numerous books; it is the different context of tat story that is used in the Harry Potter books that attracts so many people.

The books are focussed around binary oppositions (like black and white, hot and cold). The books are a story of a young orphan who feels worthless, lost and unwanted and finds out that he is actually loved and adored and is in fact, not worthless but responsible for saving a great many lives.

The story, although it seems to be satanic to some, follows a strong Christian story - that of a young peasant boy being humbly born and as he grows, realising that he is actually very important to humanity and holds sway over how people live their lives. This story is in the Bible countless times, yes as Jesus' story but more closely with the Joseph and the Colourful coat story. Joseph, just like Harry is brought up in a household where he is an outsider to hid siblings and is hated, when his siblings send Joseph away to the main city in the area they think they are selling him as a slave but it turns out, years later that Joseph is a strong political leader in the area and is very powerful. In this story Joseph started off being worthless and unwanted to find out that he is 'special' and important.

I'm tired of people saying that Harry Potter is 'old fashioned' and satanic, it isn't.
I love Harry Potter because it encourages everyone that they are all 'useful' like Neville Longbottom in the series, he isn't very bright or smart and fails at nearly everything he tries, but just because he can't do some things in life does not mean that he is 'worthless' or 'stupid', Neville turns out to be a great friend to Harry and being an enormous help to Harry and his friends.

Harry Potter's story is magical in a way other than the fictional magic that is used in the books. His story inspires and let’s loose the imagination of not only young children but people of all ages. JK Rowling has truly created a phenomenal story of courage, survival and of hope.

I love the Harry Potter series! They're full of mystery, excitement, adventure, and lots of humor! I think J.K. Rowling is a VERY talented author, and I can't wait for the 7th one. I'm not a "die hard" Harry Potter fan, but I'm very fond of the books and movies, and I enjoy them a lot.

No it is pretty pointless. I read the first 4 books and I got bored of it. Too much wizards and muggles and stuff like that.
