Merely being naked is no sin: God even told Isaiah the prophet to go naked for awhile ( Isaiah 20 ). So why are so many religious people unable to see the beauty in the nude human form as anything but evil? This makes them seem more messed up than "sinners", because they seem to condemn the most glorious sight on earth --- people made in the image & likeness of GOD --- as if this were evil !? How horrible. Now many christians are condemned to a mindset of their bodies being nothing other than sex-toys, it seems. That's sad.

This is the result of Puritanical beliefs persisting into modern culture. Unfortunately, the ideals of the 1500s are still held as truth today. Interesting isn't it? This is the same era which gave us flat-earths, the Crusades, witch hunts, etc... and still the anti nudity thing prevails.
Simple nudity is harmless and can be beneficial to the person's body image. People are conditioned to believe that their bodies are ugly by the few "perfect" ones they see in Hollywood. A plethora of eating disorders and mental problems are caused by this.
The porn industry thrives because nudity has been so sexualized. If everyone were more relaxed about nudity, many of society's problems would dissolve.

I doubt it is a problem with God. It was more of a human and society problem that we have today. Just like farting and burping in public. It is totally natural but not acceptable.

i imagine that the area of humanity it extremely is made in God's image is our ideas and inventive skill. The Bible could no longer be taken actually. no count how inspired the authors were or by technique of what source, the practise had to filter out by skill of the their minds and personalities. For me, that is a marginally clear piece of propaganda. What I do value contained in the Bible is the tale of Christ's lifestyles and teachings. i imagine He knew how misinterpreted and manipulated words can develop into and for this reason lived in a fashion that could enable us stick with in His footsteps even with what each person wrote about Him.
