Long pants, for a start; even if they are tights. I have a hard time taking any man in short pants seriously. Second, Football is a game of strategy and tactics. There are plays and counter-plays, rather than players running themselves silly for 90 minutes straight. Football is like Violent Chess. It's a smart and hard-hitting game, a combination that other sports lack.

Get real...you may consider american football the best sport ever which is fine...might be considered this way in the States and Australia...
But worldwide, Football (what americans stubbornly call "soccer") is the most popular sport in the world with no near competition...
Proof is American football doesn't exist in so many countries...

it's not. i live in america although i don't agree with all the comments made here,lol, i still agree that football is WAY better the the crappy wuss sport called football here. they wear too much padding, can't run for any length of time, their too stupid to be able to think on their feet, have to have breaks every two minutes, and are so full of themselves it's disgusting!

because its a man sport not a bunch of guys flopping all over the field trying to get a call from the refs. I don't dislike soccer, it's just that the more I watch it, the more I see that its a bunch of bs--everyone takes a dive every chance they get. If you did that in football you would get trampled.
