recieving a greeting card from someone, do you value the appearance of the card or the message of the person?

the message is the most important part of the card. the card only serves as the "base" of the message.

The message of the person, because they took their time to pick out the perfect greeting card.

I value what is in the message. There is often no better way to express your feelings. If the appearance is nice that is an added bonus! : )
