In this movie I remember one woman is scalded to death in a shower and one man falls with his hand going into a meatgrinder and all this has to do with some nutjob with psychic abilities or something like that. Can anyone tell me the title of this movie?

It sounds like you are describing "Psychic Killer" from 1975. A guy was wrongly imprisoned for murder and while there he befriends this inmate who is into voodoo and gets an amulet from him, later gets released, and wants revenge for his imprisonment. (Also was someone cremated alive and a cop driving off a cliff, among others)

All I could think of when you said that was "Scanners" but I do not know if it is from the 70's
