one of my close friends boyfriends is cheating on her. He has at least 3 different lovers that the whole town knows about. I know it, She knows it, everyone knows it! Yet, she refuses to do anything about it, because "there isn't enough proof"

How can i convince her to leave him!? or should i just let her keep looking like the idiot and make her own mistakes..

Let her make her own mistakes, - you've your own to make.

Be her friend, don´t tell her she looks like an idiot, in the end who cares what people thinks, but just talk to her and listen to her, what she has is poor self steem and you if you really want to help her let her know that she deserves so much better, that she is so much more than what she thinks. Then maybe she will get the strenght to leave this jerk and move on. You can´t make a person do what you think it is good for them, but instead lift her spirit up so she can do better for herself. She doesn´t need "proof" she needs courage to not fear for loneliness or changes in her life.

Clearly your friend hears the same stories you do. Have you ever heard the old saying love is blind? Let her alone all of this is after all her own choices. She will open her eyes soon enough and if there is not a tear in your relationship (by your insisting that she does what she is not ready to do) then you will be there when she needs you the most. In life we all have to make our own decisions on how much or when we are tired of things. She will get there just be there when she does.

It doesnt neccesarily mean he is cheating. He could just be talking. But if she still loves him and has feelings for him, keep an eye on them both. Most people don't talk to an ex gf if they are married. But give him the benefit of the doubt and don't assume that he is cheating, but dont be so carefree that he slips into cheating. If that makes any since.

If she knows what he's doing and won't do anything because"there isn't enough proof", then nothing you say is going to make an impact. Don't waste your time trying. This is one of those people who is staring the truth dead in the eye and can't or won't face up to it. Leave her be. Maybe it doesn't bother her to have lowlife, cheating snake as a boyfriend.

If she says, "there isn't enough proof," she's knows what is going on....apparently she doesn't mind the situation and whatever positive feelings he is giving her makes up (in her mind, at least) for the negative stuff. Above all stay her friend, make jokes about his cheating, find fun stuff the two of you like to do and don't pay too much attention to him....she'll wise up one day and move on!

She is the only one that can make a decision to dump him. Once a cheat always a cheat! Just try to be a good friend and be supportive and not necessarily offer a lot of advice unless she asks you.

Easy... you shouldn't. You shou;d consider that it's actually not your place to tell her what to do with her life whether you agree with her position or not.

Sometimes, you just gotta let people learn on thier own. Just be there for her if she breaks down; that makes you a better friend than trying to make her do something which is from your standpoint a no brainer, but from hers, obviously not what she's ready to d.

Let her figure it out for herself. If she is so much in denial that she won't except what is being shown to her there is nothing you can do to change that. Just hope that by him dealing with all these females you friend is exposed to or contracts an STD. That's the scariest part not the humiliation.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make her drink...let her make her own path. The Universe will unfold as it should. Maybe it is her karma to go through this. You can't keep people from their destined path in life. Just be supportive if and when they fall.

You cannot convice her to do anything. She will see the mess she is in sooner or later. You as a friend should be there to support her in her decisions. When she finally realizes that her relationship is not healthy and falls apart- you have to be there to help her pick up the pieces.
