9 1/18
5 5/6 is the same as 5 15/18
3 2/9 is the same as 3 4/18
So add them and you get 8 19/18 or 9 1/18

First, find a common denomator. For this problem it would be 18 because 6 and 9 can both go in to it. 6*3=18 and 9*2=18. then put it in to working form.
5 5/6
+ 3 2/9
_____________
then make 5/6 into equivental fraction with a denomator of 18. Do the same with 2/9.
Then just add and get your answer.
5 5/6= 5 15/18
+3 2/9= 3 4/18
______________
8 19/18 = 9 1/18
Do you kinda understand it know? Good

5+3=8 (add first 2 whole numbers)
5/6 +2/9=
5/6 x 3/3 =15/18
2/9 x 2/2 = 4/18
15/18 + 4/18 = 19/18
8 19/18
Simplfy
19 divided by 18 = 1 & 5/10
Simplify 1 & 2/5
1 and 2/5 + 8= 9 2/5
(need to make denominators of both fractions the same number in order to add them..so I multiplied the first one by 3/3 to make the it bottom 18 & the second one by 2/2 to make the bottom 18)
i really hope that is right..haven't done it in a long time

5 5/6 + 3 2/9
I will try to explain it as simple as I can
5 of 5 5/6 is equal to 30/6
3 of 3 2/9 is equal to 27/9
so
5 5/6 + 3 2/9= (30/6+5/6) + (27/9+ 2/9) =35/6 + 29/9
multiply the first fraction by 3 and second one by 2 in order to obtain the same denominator which is 18
35/6 + 29/9= 105/18 + 58/18 = 163/18
(3) ___ (2)

8 + (3x5 + 2 x 2)/18 =
8 + (15 + 4)/18 =
8 + 19/18 = 8 integers 19/18 or 144 + 19 = 163/18

multiply the bottom numbers of the fractions.
6x9=54
That will become the bottom number of the new fraction.
Cross multiply the top numbers:
5x9=45
2x6=12
add the cross-multiplied numbers and put that number over the bottom number we determined earlier:
45+12=57/54
57 is bigger than 54, so you can add ONE to the whole numbers, and subtract 54 from the fraction.
5+3+1= 9
9 3/54
3 and 54 are both multiples of three, so you can divide both parts of the fraction by 3.
3/3 = 1
54/3=18
so the final number is 9 1/18

first, convert it into 18ths so that they have the same denominator.
youll get 5 15/18 + 3 4/18. than add, and you get 8 19/18. This equals 9 1/18.
