Seriously, he's a two-time pro bowler, has three super bowl rings, and had as many as 50 receptions in a single season. He was among the last of the old school full backs. In fact, one could make a case that Emmitt wouldn't have a bunch of those yards if Moose hadn't been his lead blocker.

FootballFan, I agree w/ you on Art Monk, and Vermeil will go in as soon as he's eligible (bring a hanky). Re: Cunningham +/-

Troy & Emmitt both have said that they wouldn't have had near the success if it hadn't been for Moose!!!! He'll make it...no worries!!

Whop-de-do! Why isn't Art Monk, Andre Reed, Randall Cunningham, and Dick Vermil in the Hall of Fame? They're way better than Daryl Johnson!

Full backs aren't exactly a high profile position. Likely the odds of a FB getting into the Hall are similar to that of a tight end.

That being said...two pro bowls really isn't all that impressive all things considered. Certainly he was very good, but I never saw him as among the elite players of all time in the NFL.

For sure as Jim Johnston has contributed a lot to WWE with some amazing theme songs that are easily identifiable and which are also synonymous with legendary eras like the classic Attitude Era.His contributions are as relevant as some other potential Hall of Famers and equally justifiable.

It isn't a glory position. I doubt he will be inducted in my lifetime despite his value to the Cowboys earning those three suberbowl rings. Like the other guy said, if Art Monk keeps getting passed over despite the magnitude of catches he has amassed, I doubt Moose will get the vote.

He will get there. He just isn't one of those obvious first ballot entries. In time more people will recognize his contribution to that team and he will get his due respect.
