Since I've been a member of Y! Answers I've noticed that one question seems to prevail here in the Comics and Animation category. "What's your favorite anime?" Day in and day out I see this question at least once a day. So, I want to know how many of you find it easy to pick one particular favorite. To me it isn't an easy question because each anime has it's own appeal.

What say you, fellow fans?

My favorite one was easy to pick, once I saw it. Maison Ikkoku just grabbed me and never let go. I love to watch many different anime (Macross, Fushigi Yuugi, Sailor Moon, Gundam 0078, everything Miyazaki, and so on), but none has ever caught my eye like MI did. Takahashi's work is what I like best, with Maison Ikkoku being the top of the list. I like the manga even more!!

True. One anime has things that some other anime doesn't but the other anime may have something really cool about it.

I personally can say that Dragonball is my favourite. Also the beginning of Dragonball Z was good. When it reached the Majin Buu saga it got terrible. The last few episodes of Dragonball GT was also good but was horrible otherwise. I love Akira Toriyama's work. His stories always have some humour and I've grown attached ot his artworks. He made Chrono Trigger as well. It's a game but the artwork and sound effects come straight out of Dragonball Z.

It's extremely easy for me.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo(No.1 since June 2006)

Although... this could change with Haruhi Suzumiya.

I find it difficult to choose. I like so many different shows that I do not have an absolute favorite. That is what makes the genre so great. You can find so man y top notch shows and manga, that there is no need to choose a favorite because so many shows are of high quality.

I think out of all the anime I've seen, Gundam Wing is the best. It is a victim of fan rape but thats what makes it so great! I don't watch it for the plot, its the characters!

Yeah, it's kinda hard for me to decide...actually no. It's not. I know my ultimate favorite anime; Azumanga Daioh!! It's SO hilarious, but whatever you do, DON'T watch it in English! It sounds so stupid. Go to YouTube and find all the episodes there in Japanese with subtitles. Way better if you ask me.

No matter how much I've seen, I don't think anything can or will compare to Yu-Gi-Oh. It took me a long time to get it, but ever since it has been one of the driving forces in my life.
