At eleven weeks, the fetus doesn't have the motor skill development to start moving, at least on a regular basis. Everything is fine...most important thing is they saw the heart beat. All will be ok...just wait for your 18-20 week ultrasound and you get to see a kick or a punch if the little one isn't sleeping. My girl put on quite a show for us @ the 20 week US, but completely slept through the 28 wk US.

I have two children and in my first ultrasound I seen nothing. The doctor told me what was the baby, but I myself couldn't figure out what end was the head and what end was the other. The people that say there babies are doing flips are most likely talking about the second ultra sound when you get to find out the sex of the baby. At 11 weeks the baby is too small to really do anything.

Your baby was most likley sleeping, they sleep alot in the womb just like they do when they come out. I rented a fetal heart dopplar online and I can tell by the sound when my baby is moving and not and about half the time it is sleeping. I am sure everything is fine since there was a heartbeat. I suggest if you have the extra money rent a dopplar I listen to may baby 3 times a day it is such a great stress releiver. I rented one that is very basic does not have the heart rate display, but you can tell it is the baby cause it is super fast. I rented fine from babyfm.com

Don't worry. You saw the heartbeat and the doctor said everything looked normal. If there was a problem the doctor would have sent you to the hospital for another ultrasound.

Maybe the baby was sleeping. The movements aren't as important as the heartbeat. I'm sure that at the big U/s, the baby will be moving quite a bit more. They usually do a big u/s around 18-22 weeks.

It is entirely possible that the baby was sleeping. My mother is an ultrasound tech and she's told me she's had women get really anxious when they didn't see the baby moving but that if all the vitals are fine then the little thing is probably just having a nap.

It's ok -- the baby might be sleeping!
Don't worry about it, at this early stage of the pregnancy as long as there is a heart beat everything with your little one is fine!
Good luck!!!

AS LONG AS THERE WAS A HEARTBEAT MAYBE THE BABY WAS SLEEPING. THEY DO SLEEP AT TIMES OR HAVE LESS MOVEMENT. I WOULD NOT WORRY RIGHT NOW.
