What exactly do you and Libby think he will testify to on Libby's behalf? Anytime a lawyer calls an obviously hostile and irrelevant witness, it is a smokescreen for something else.
Even if Wilson is a lying sack of sh it Libby is still guilty of revealing national secrets and then lying about it.

Since he would not be testifying for the prosecution, why would he want to help one of the guys he is suing?
Of course he's going to fight the subpoena, just like you would if OJ wanted to call you as a non-paid defense witness.
