Recently I fixed up an old computer we had sitting around with my dad. We gave it a new hard drive because the old one was messed up and didn't work for more than 20 minutes at a time. Then we set up a wireless connection between this computer and our main computer. Now I want to be able to play games on it that I have installed on the main computer. If I "share out" the C: drive on our main computer will I be able to access these games through our network connection by mapping it as a network drive?

I'm not sure that that will work, but even if it does, the quality of the game will probably suffer. It would probably be best to download the game directly onto the computer you want to play it on, but if it does work good, let me know. I might be interested in trying it someday.

The game or any modern peice of software will need to be installed on the old computer as the files in the installation directory do not work in isolation, they rely on numerous setting made to the registry and install several dll files when they are 1st installed.
You may get away with some old DOS games though :-o
