We have a designated "gift-hander-outer" haha! Usually one of the kids, and if they grab the "best" gift, usually one of us parents say, oh save that one for last! lol....

Usually smallest to biggest. That way you save the best for last.

We always hand out gifts. The kids give out their gifts to everyone, then my parents hand out gifts to the three kids. Each kid gets something similar or in the same price range. We do that until everything is opened. It helped when we were younger. I know I would have been annoyed to open a book when my brother got a Nintendo even if it all came out even in the end.

normally i would go smallest to biggest, saving the best till last. But last year my main pressie was an ipod, and its rather small and my biggest was a giant beanbag, so it sort of ruined the system lol.

I prefer the smallest gifts. they seem to be more intriguing to me. whenever there is a " grab bag gift exchange " and I can choose will always go for the smaller gifts.

When I was little I saved the biggest for last.. But now it's more fun to just grab the first one you see with your name on it. It's more spontaneous that way. :)

I usually just pick the least interesting lookin present and open it first. Then I keep going till I get to the best lookin one.
