It all has to do with the older childs perspective about school and mostly theirself. If an older child is having trouble fitting in....why? Is it because a change in schools? Are they attending a different school in the sense that they went from city to a school school or vise verso? Did the child get held back a year or did the child advance a year ahead? Is the child getting lower grades then the majority or higher grades? As for being useful, everybody is useful unless they are catonic (a person that can't literally speak or move on their own), and thats when a child will have to KNOW that from him/her self!!! But to answer your question more specifically, I need to know more.

parts are true and parts are false. Also, every child is different so all that considered.. it really depends.
