Don't give me Justin Timberlake either bc he started out the lead singer of NSync. Why is it that there are so many white people who both love and grow up on R&B yet not any white singers? I mean you see the effect with rap. Why is this??

R&B is sort of a spinoff of Gospel, which originated in the Black community by slaves or the decendents of slaves. Rap is something that requires a beat and most African-Americans are keen to it because they're ancestors way back when (before the Slave Trade) communicated through beats and music. White people are more math/science based, which is why we resorted to language and special specifications to communicate.
See? Things your history teacher tought you still applies today, even to Pop Culture :)

Jon B and Taylor Dayne are the only white R&B singers I know and they are pretty good. Oh and Teena Marie is the best.

Obviously, you don't know about all the white people doing it. Black people just generally are better at performing that kind of music.
I'm sure there are probably some good white R&B singers out there, but they haven't tried becoming famous, perhaps?

They are great R&B singers and they are both white.
