Bears are hairy, muscular older gay guys (mid 30's +) who aren't bone thin (if that makes sense) they are usually big boned. Cubs are basically a younger version of bears (usually in 20's to early 30's)

I was going to say "a furry back" but I was wrong. It's (as stated above) sans condom....although that is rather dangeerous nowadays. I still like furry back better. Blessings.
