It was released in England just as "Green Street" , about 18 months ago. Its all a bit stupid, really...its a middle-class script writer's idea of a working class phenomemon. That kind of thing maybe happened 30 years ago, but not now. Its WAY out of date.

Yes. Really good film - slightly better than Football Factory. I.D is still the best football hooligan film, but hardly anyone has watched it.

Being a west ham supporter I didn't watch this with a great deal of pride, elijah wood as the quivering yank who turns to hardened firm member did little for me
Football factory is better, more convincing and funny in places

I thought the boys were very unconvincing with the exception of Tony Hatcher the Millwall boss. Most of the Green Street Elite would poo their pants and go running to their mummies if you said boo to them.

hugely exaggerated ..now you have people thinking that ..thats how football in england still is..they should of had it take place in the 70s..80s...where you saw more of that then u do now...apart from the bad rep it gives ...it was alright i suppose...ending was crap though. I have to agree that...it was kind of hard to get frodo out of your mind and specially to see him as a hooligan. :P

i think it is a brilliant film, loved it, exagerated a little bit but firms still do happen but not tht violent or popular.
takin for instance a week ago was on th birmingham train station and the birmingham boys had just came back from a game and hell just broke loose on th station with th other team.
so its still kinda true, but how u gonna catch a viewers attenton wit a rare occassion?

Ok film but getting over the image of frodo as a thug is quite difficult.

It was better than I thought it'd be.
It told a story about a subject that not many people know about, and I appreciated that as well.
Elijah Wood was ok, but the cousin (I think, it's been awhile) that played opposite him did an excellent acting job.
(It's hard to get rid of the image of Frodo....lol.
