American men marry Filipino women because of their wonderful nature and kind spirit. It goes deeper than just beauty.
Filipino women are great moms, caring, supportive, kind, super work ethic, loyal ,and devoted women. what more can you ask?
How often do you hear about filipino couples getting divorced?
Americans have made it an art form.

I have been with my filipina girlfriend for two years. We plan on getting married in a year or so. Our relationship is based on love not some type of arrangement. We feel and look very natural together, matter of fact we sent out Xmas cards with a picture of us and our dog and have gotten dozens of compliments. I think the awkward looking couple is the mail order wife situation when the girl is still FOB and the guy is either twice her age or some Chester the molester looking guy. If both people are good looking then they make a good looking couple, and have beautiful kids.

When two people are in love they make a beautiful couple, regardless of race :o)
I love to see a couple holding hands and doting on one another... same race couples can be soul mates or terrible, bickering mates, the same goes for mixed race couples.
Cultural differences can be challenging or inspiring.
As long as two people marry for love and work equally toward keeping that flame alive, then it is a perfect match.

How is that different from an American man marrying an American woman?
I dunno if you have realized this, but Americans come in all shapes, sizes and colors...Many women here look just like women from the Philippines (some, in fact, are Filipinas, with American citizenship).
To me, they look like any other couple walking down the street.

People are free to marry anyone they want to. Some maybe attracted to Filipinos. Or they just happen to meet these women like they met other women in different places like school, work, place of worship, etc. and the woman they end up falling for just happens to be Filipino.

They may be looking for an old fashioned wife that won't take them for granted. Someone that would be happy to stay home and keep the house and take care of the family.

Here's what I think:
"don't care"---I was actually thinking of Pres. Bush wanting to expand the armed forces in general, which we all know means a DRAFT, and then you made me think of American men marrying Filipinas. Totally blew that thought right outta my head
Anyone can marry whoever they want....white, black, purple, pink...cats, dogs, mice have at it.

I would prefer American men to marry American women. Much less conflict for everyone, including the children that might be born.
