Kidney stones usually cause Flank pain which is more to the side of the abdomen and back. Sometime though you can have a stone that is to big to pass and stays in the upj of the ureter causing a colic type pain that can last for a very long time. Or hr could have kidney stone that is large and is having difficulty passing.. this could take up to 3 weeks to pass. be sure and check for fever or blood in his stool or urine. And always check w/ his doctor if the pain persist or can not be controlled. good luck.

It could be gall bladder or a lot of other things. Even a doctor can't do a diagnosis without seeing the patient. It could be serious (=dangerous to wait); get him to a doctor immediately! Tell him you love him too much to just let him die like this. Any pain that lasts that long must be evaluated IN PERSON by a professional. He MUST see a doctor without further delay.

Could be a hernia. She should see a doctor. Is it an insurance issue? Go to the "bad" part of town and find a cheap doctor.
