Tampons. I think they are essential because you don't have to worry about "accidents" when a tampon is inserted. I play a lot of sports, and tampons always keep me safe! However, always wear a pad even when the tampon is inserted...just in case! Having both on makes 100 percent protection.
To find out which is best for you, I would try a pad for a few days and then try the tampon. Some girls like one more than the other, so try each one out and then decide what's best for you. Both products will get the job done for you...you will be protected with either a pad or tampon. Hope this helps!!

tampons- they're much, much more comfortable. I ran out of tampons the other day so had to use a pad and it was hell, the thought what your sitting on is enough. As most girls have said if the tampon is inserted correctly then you can't even feel it- what mor can you ask for?

I usually use both a pad and tampon. Sometimes pads make me feel like I am wearing a diaper, but I usually wear them at night when I am sleeping. I use tampons during the day and on my heavies days of my period.

Tampons, are comfortable because I hate the feeling of pads and the handling of them.

Well, I use pads during the day(comfortable) and tampons during the night. Tampons give you cramps. I wear tampons at night so you don't leak all over the bed if you turn one way while you sleep.

I think it really depends on the brand. I think tampons are much preferable to pads, but I won't use anything other than OB tampons either.
