I don't have a desktop so I can't create a network printer setup. I have my printer connected to a belkin usb hub, but I want my girlfriend to also print from her computer when we are both in the same room so that we don't have to keep on swapping cables. I tried the Linksys wireless print port thing and it sucks. Any other solutions?

Use a print server and connect via LAN to it. Or, if the printer supports it, connect directly via LAN to it (for both computers, use a network switch).

All the best.

you can easily set up a home network on your laptops if they are wirelesly enabled. you can then go through the other computers files and actually install the printer networkly so that when you want to print it will send the file to one laptop and then from that laptop to the printer. ie. avoiding switching cables

If the computers are set up on a wireless network you can add the printer on your laptop to your gf's laptop as long as your laptop is on.

Set up a wireless network using a router. You can get these from Office Depot.

go to Best Buy and you can get a switch with two cable ports. One for each system and you only have to flip the switch for whichever one of you needs to print. Too easy!
