The world is so "PC" because the liberal left- not to say some of it was and is still needed, but you can feel like a criminal for saying "Merry Christmas". The awkwardness people feel and act like when you say it to them is astounding.
Try it, go into a store and when you are down with your check out, say"Merry Christmas", the looks and responses you get are funny. It is to a point were people don't know how to react when you say it.
I am all for people celebrating or not celebrating their beliefs or holidays, but why do the minority out way the majority? When does one person who is offended by a Christmas tree out weigh the thousands/millions who either enjoy or are indifferent to the "offensive" item.
People have to learn to be tolerant of others, but that goes both ways. Sometimes you just have to turn the other cheek and let things go.
Well that is my rant of the day.

PC is a form of politeness. People tend to be more polite and caring of others on the holidays. I think out of respect for each other and their differences.

Why is politeness always written off as "politcal correctness"?
If ever there was a time for politeness and consideration, it would be Christmas, would it not?
I think a lot of folks just squawk about "PC" because they enjoy being rude and inconsiderate to others at Christmas, and it's their way of shifting the blame from themselves to the subject of their ignorance.

I'm not. Are you?
If you are offended if I say "Merry Christmas" instead of Happy Holidays, that is your problem. People are too overly sensitive. Just because I have a damn Christmas tree doesn't mean I am ramming Christ down your throat. People need to relax...

So much pressure. People stealing. (Our office computer was stolen.) Expectations for presents and parties that people can't actually afford. Family reunions with people that you actually can't stand. The uneasy realization that unless we really partake of the joy that the little Baby was supposed to bring, real soon everything's going to be same-old same-old again, plus credit card bills.

Because they are afraid of "offending" someone and being sued. Merry Christmas.
And just so I won't "offend" anyone, Happy Hannakuh and whatever it is (merry, happy, etc.) Kwanzaa.
