Alcohol Tabacco and Firearms valve. Anytime your vehicle is transporting any of the above, the valve needs to be opened to allow for easy inspection by ATF agents.

ATF for cars is almost universally understood to mean automatic transmission fluid. No clue what the "ATF valve" may be, maybe someone is trying to sell you something you don't really need?

It won't smash your automobile, even though it is going to foul up the spark plugs if left in that's recent state. the main question is ''How did the ATF fluid get from the transmission to the intake manifold?''. Older autos had on their automatics a gadget observed as a ''modulator''. that's objective became to regulate shifting of the gears. interior the modulator there became a rubber diaphragm. whilst this Daphna cracked, the transmission fluid could get sucked into the intake manifold by ability of a vacuum line related to the modulator. consistent with danger this or some thing comparable is the priority.

sounds like the valve in the valve body which when it gets to a certain pressure tells the trans to shift into a higher gear.

I've heard of;
EGR (exhaust gas recirculator) valve)
PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve
But not an ATF valve.

It is there to help the car fly! only if your wearing green trousers though...... and a pink hat!
The HFL (hydrolic flotation liquid) is the stuff that makes it float on water! You must be singing the national anthem to do this AND be hopping on one leg!
Merry Christmas!
