Guys always like to smell good. Especially when they are with their girlfriends. I think the best gift you can get him is a bottle of cologne that you enjoy the smell of. Or if he is into video games....go to any store that sells them (find out first which system he has) and ask them what the most popular game out is.

okay, so a lot of different movie/record stores are having blow out prices... I got the Godfather trilogy for 24 bucks at virgin... and I got the Bourne Identities for my cousin for 16... so there are a lot of deals on DVDs right now.
One thing I'm recommending to everyone is itunes gift cards because almost everyone has an I pod.
Think about what he likes, any movies? Any sports teams? you can get him a jersey or a hat.
If you are a little more avant garde think out of the box... my friend got her boyfriend an venus fly trap... a little different... but I thought it was cool.
If you want to make it romantic or anything, dig up old picutres... my friend is an artist so he got a picture of him and his girlfriend and he painted the frame... it was really cool.

I made my boyfriend a quilt when I was 16. It wasn't elaborate, I just tied one together. You can do something similar with two large pieces of flannel material, different paterns or colors on each side. Cut 2 inch strips on all four sides 1 inch apart. Tie the two together You'll have like 40 knots on each side. At the Wal-Mart or other craft stores they will have the pattern you need to do this. It will take you only a few hours and he'll have a handmade blanket from his sweetie.

maybe you can enter him in the occ bike giveaway but chances maybe silm due to the number of people entering. or just get him man stuff that he may like.
