It was a Valentine's Day gift (sorry wrong holiday). My hubby & I were separated and I was at work, watching as the other women there rec'd pretty flowers from their sweethearts. Just after lunch, I rec'd a HUGE bouquet of red roses. The card was signed "I love you Mommylove, from Colbylove". Someone had sent me flowers from my 2 year old son! To this day, I have never gotten a gift that had touched my heart so wonderfully.
(thanks for the memory)

The best present I've ever recieved was a vacation to Walt Disney World. My boyfriend took me for 10 days. It meant the world to me because it's my favorite place and I hadn't been in almost ten years.

I think the BEST present I've got is my two baby sisters...I was 15 when the first one was born...and even though the age difference is kinda big, they are the best thing that has happened to me!!
But another one is my guitar - because it has definately given me the gift of music and stuff.

I love this question. My seven year old daughter gave me a woven basket of cloth with a light bulb in it for "Good Thoughts" ~ the kids had gone to their school fair and she bought the basket. She looked at it sadly and felt it was not enough....then she laughed to herself and thought of the 'idea' to place a light bulb in it.
THAT to me was amazing...and still is to this day. I am smiling now as I think about it.
Thanks......

Finding out my mother was going to survive very scary surgery. That came from a rational universe or God or something like that.
