I don't live in Singapore right now, so I can't tell you. But there was a blackout, I think, last year sometime between June-July in some parts of Singapore because the power got cut off. But I did read on Channel News Asia that some places are flooded in Singapore.

I lived in a neighborhood that got their power cut off. It was kind of fun... People went, "Oi!" when the power had just cut off. We brought out candles and flashlights in our home. Then my sister and I started turning our flashlight on and off, "relaying" messages to people in the apartment block across from us. It was like 1 or 2 AM when the power came back on. Good times...

Yeah, there was a big blackout at about 4 something pm.

Probably because it's been raining so much.
Techniclly 2 nights and three days of continuous rain followed by the 'big blackout'.

It's the 3rd worst rainfall Singapore's seen in 75 years.

Yes, but only located at certain places in Singapore - not the whole island.

10 years ago, big balckout always occurred during heavy rain. Now is so much better.
