I agree with the other responses.Babysitting is a great way to make extra cash..that is if you are responsible 12 year old and don't have a problem with kids. Yard work (raking leaves, shoveling snow), cleaning houses/gargages, dog walking for your neighbors. You could try selling home made baked goods if you're a good baker. This is a perfect time of year to make money doing that. If you have a natural talent or knack for doing something special capitalize on it and make money on it. Good luck.

When I was 12 I did a lot of babysitting (after I took a babysitting course and knew a bit of first aid)
I also dog sat and took care of my neighbor's plants when they were away on vacation.
You might also want to consider lawn mowing or snow shovelling.
I made up little business cards (nothing fancy) and handed them out in my neighborhood. I got several calls! It really works! If your neighbors don't fell comfortable with you babysitting while they are gone, you could just be a "mother's helper" and help out while she is busy doing other things. You might also consider doing housework in addition to babysitting.
My brother had a paper route at that age and loved it. He got big tips from his neighbors at Christmas!

you could try and get a paper route
or
walk your neighbors dogs or offer to feed and walk there pets while there out of town

right now is a good time to ask around and see if anyone in your neighbor hood needs help wrapping there gifts you can change a buck per packages i did that every Xmas and made
or
im not sure where you live but if it snows there try shoveling snow and in the summer rake leaves

Ps hope that helps and remember to get your
parents permission before doing any of the things listed above

If they are responsible I would say babysitting. Have them take the Red Cross babysitting course to become certified. Also, if they like animals I would say pet sitting or dog walking. Finally if you are in a close knit community they can help neighbors and family members with errands.

Yard work, mowing, raking, trimming hedges, pulling weeds and snow work if you live where it gets snow. Shoveling walks and driveways is a good way to make some good money in the winter.

Baby sit, rake yards, shovel driveways, Sell candy at school. Ok if you want to make some real money you need to pull off a good scam. But you can get in big trouble if you get caught so you may want to stick to legit ways............But if someone wanted to........................

This is how to do it. Go around door to door and tell people you are raising money for a new computer at school, and ask them if they will sponcer you in a sit-up contest at school.

Take a CPR and babysitting class at your local YMCA and when you're done with that go around to your neighbors that have small children and give them a flyer with all of your info on there.. Make sure you include your CPR training..... Good luck to you...
