I rewrap all the presents in different paper just to confuse the givers.

No, never too old. But it's more fun to simply grasp and feel the present, and then use your psychic powers to try to figure out what's in there.
I had to develop those psychic powers because I was so lousy at re-wrapping the presents I'd sneak open!

Nah....actually these days I just open some of the gifts before Christmas, that way I don't have to wait to be disappointed. Plus, yesterday was my seventh wedding anniversary, so hubby and I have gotten into the habit of blending our personal Christmas together with that...and that way, Christmas itself is all about our daughter :)

The good thing about sneaking a peek is that you can spend the next few days working on the 'OH MY GOD, THAT'S THE BEST PRESENT I'VE EVER HAD' face.

I did it once when I was little and I got caught. It hurt my Mom's feelings and I have never done it since then. I figure that you can ruin the surprise for yourself and hurt someones feelings too. I would just much rather wait patiently.

no I personaly never peaked under the wrapping paper (WELL.......) but I think that everyone can still do that. Adult teen or elder.

I used to be so bad and open up all of my presents, take a peek and close them all up again. How bad was that?
Now I can wait, but I do shake, cajole, beg and plead to find out what's in there...heheh
