I don't watch the view, Damon was expressing his opinion as an American citizen and Olberman is always clear about what is fact and what is his opinion. If Gallagher has a problem with what Olberman is presenting as facts then let him point out what is wrong and what the truth is. If he can't and he's only ranting about opinions that are different than his, then I suggest that Gallagher spend some time reading the US constitution. The right keeps saying over and over that the left doesn't understand that the soldiers are fighting for our freedoms. A fundamental freedom is the ability to express an opinion, even if it differs from Gallagher's myopic view of the world.

The party is almost over for the republicans. Jan 3 is around the corner and being accused of treason because you speak your mind or represent the democratic party will come to a screaching halt. GWB will be a lame duck president. Investigations will begin and civil liberties will be restored.

If he did Hollywood would fly into a panic and liberal Americans would wander aimlessly until the next celebrity "C" student or dropout stepped forward with their well researched political views.... I mean nothings happened and look how the panic has already started..... Would that mean no more "Borne" movies ?????

He has not committed treason, he has just shown that he hates freedom of speech, can't handle dissent and would love to get rid of the Bill of Rights.

No, giving your opinion in a free country is your right. Expressing your opinion is never treasonous, regardless of said opinion.

He and you, are fortunate that you don't need a license to spout off. Read the First Amendment. Oh yes, that would be in the US Constitution. It is online.

Only if they said/did whatever they said/did overseas on foreign soil. Otherwise they are exercising their right to free speech.
