i think there is no simple answer to this question.
some women like it, some women crave the attention regardless of whether it is negative, some women were abused and haven't figured out how to deal...there are lots of different reasons.

Are most men inherently slutty or is it lack of attention from the father that makes them that way?

I don't think it is the lack of love from just the daddy that can send some women into slutty behavior--divorce is a big cause of it as well- I for one was desperately looking for someone to Love me- and the problem with that was I did not love me- so ... after many attempts to find Mr. right and only finding Mr. horny, I gave my life to God- God changed me- I felt happy for once in my life- I did not need a man to feel loved anymore-- but eventually God did bring me a wonderful man, and we have had 10 great years of marriage! with many more to come-- I think it was my Lack of God the Father that sent me on my downward spiral- So, I for one will raise my daughter to know that her daddy and her Heavenly Father both love her very much.

Some are inherently slutty, some need attention, and some of us are recognizing that we are sexual beings and that it's ok as long as no one gets hurt! You seem to have a problem with this...?

I think that the lack of attention from a fatherly figure, makes them that way. I know a lot of ppl that never knew their father or had step-dad's that messed with them in the worst possible way and they eventually went on to have kids at 16.

Depends on what you mean by 'slutty'. If you mean simply that they like sex a lot and tend to have multiple partners over time, then they are no worse than men. Do men behave that way because lack of attention from their mothers make them that way? Beware the double standard. You're sounding like a hypocrite.

To be honest I think guys are generally a lot more slutty than women.
but when a guy is slutty it gets called something more flattering like "being a ladies man", "playing the field", "sowing yr wild oats" etc...
If men used the same criteria to judge ourselves that we do to judge women, we would have to admit we're a right shower of tramps. Word!

You know what, they always say its the result of a lack of attention from the father, but society always likes to give comfortable answers to today's "problems."

Lack of attention from daddy is probably the number one correlative factor. That's why it's tough on girls when daddy is not around, for whatever reason. Boys have issues treating women respectfully if they have no role-model to base how they treat women on when they grow up, so an absent dad makes all the children lose.

Could it be they just enjoy the physical side of sex? Why is that concidered slutty? Men are expected to have multiple partners. So why not women as well? I hate that double standard.
