the entire emo culture has stolen ideas form others, and this is only the most recent trend that a bunch of kids have decided to join...more or less the have taken all of their distinctive stylinegs from other ares (ex: tight pants from 80s metal and studded belts also from metal)....and the biggest problem is the music that goes with it..if you think that emo music can be considered in any way, shape, or form, "good" music then you are absolutely and completely wrong...there is not one emo song that in any way involves an acceptable level of talent to create, play, or sing..those bands in no way care about what kind of music they are putting out, just looking for a quick few bucks..whatever your oppinion is in a few years emo people will be looking back at themselves saying what the **** was i thinkin (like people lookin back at their hair in the 80s)

I enjoy Emo music on occasion. Like Rites Of Spring, Fugazi, I Hate Myself, & Harriet the Spy.
But the media label that it has grown into is a bit much.

I personaly am not emo but sum of my freinds are but the only thing thats diffrent between me (non-emo) and them (emo) is how we dress and thats about it i listent to rock and rap and hip-hop

"emo" kids who know nothing about the music and are just following a stupid fashion trend which has nothing to do with music? Can't stand it! And i don't feel like i should have to elaborate on why i can't stand it...
