I'm not sure exactly what you want to know. Are you asking how many periods throughout once's lifetime or throughout a year? Each women is different. Some start their periods as young as 9 and some end their periods well into their 50's. There's no real answer, as it will be different for each women. Basically, most women have 12-13 periods a year up until sometime in their 50's.

Well a cycle is 28 days so that ought to make it 12-13 times per year depending. But some women have their period twice per month (24 per year!!!).

The norm is every 28 days give or take. And, unless you're lucky, you'll have them into your 50s when you go into menopause. I had to have a hysterectomy in my late 30s and it made me a mighty happy camper since my periods were very painful.

One a month (unless pregnant) from the onset of menses until menopause. The number of years to multiply will vary depending on the woman.

It depends on the woman - when she started (me: 10) and I'm 49 so it's been forever! haha.
But i've heard of women having babies (natural not artificial conceptuion) in their mid 50s so it just depends.

No, I think you found the impossible question. While some Doctors will speculate they can't even tell you an accurate number. Woman start their periods at different ages and they go into menopause at all different ages.

No. It entirely depends if the woman is having several pregancies or none. In the old days women were not menstruation a lot - they were either pregnant or lactating.
