Yeah, it's usually 5-10 minutes apart, it depends on what kind of condition you or the baby is in. It also depends on what kind of doctor you have, and what doctor you have also. Because you could live 45 minutes away from the hospital, but your doctor might delivers his/her babies at another hospital. So you have take these things into consideration first. So you should choose a doctor that either delivers at the hospital you want, or find a doctor that delivers at a hospital that's closer. Then, you should consult with your doctor, tell him/her what you are trying to do as far as getting pregnant, and see if he has any suggestions for you. But don't just go out and pick a doctor, find someone that you know that you are going to be comfortable with before conception, during your pregnancy, and after-wards.............there is a lot of things that you need to take into consideration.....GOOD LUCK!

Well, if you go too soon that gives them more time to mess with you.

Wait until they are 5 minutes apart for an hour before you go.

If women in your family are lightning fast birthers, leave before that, but don't actually go into the hospital until you absolutely have to.

I wouldn't worry about having the baby in the car. By the time you get to the hospital and spend several hours there, you'll have wished you DID have it in the car so they will quit messing with you.

Good luck getting pregnant. FIRST THINGS FIRST.
