Um..I hate to break this to you, but RX7s are rotory powered engines. They don't have pistons or rings. Also, good luck on finding a rebuild kit or a shop willing to do the rebuild.
By the way, for a couple hundred, I can 'find' you exactly the pistons, rings, and valves you need. Quality parts not guaranteed or implied.

gee let see here.....87 rx-7. which mazda used the 13b-vdei motor, which is a wankel rotory engine. this motor does not use pistons or piston rings or valves. they do use a valve type system....but its completely different as the rotor itself is the valve. if its an overhaul that you want to do....i highly suggest that you let an experienced rotory professional rebuild the motor. rotory motors are not that hard to work on, but require completly different ways of doing things, and people that know about rotory motors will know certain things about the motor itself that are known problem areas. such as the gasket inbetween the rotor chambers.

Since the engine has no pistons, it has no piston rings. It also has no valves. Good luck looking, though.
