ive got a brand new Micro Innovations Internet Access Elite Keyboard and the hotkeys dont work...i called tech support did what he said and still nothing, told me to take it back to the store... Anyone know how to fix this? and does it matter that im on a laptop? (no the keyboard is NOT built-in)

yep, tried installing a few times eeven tried it without it installed

Have you installed the software that came with the keyboard? The software is what controls the hotkeys.

Keyboards form part of the user interface and a keyboard problem can be very annoying. Sometimes the keyboard drivers can get corrupted. Some of the problems can be fixed . I have found the details given at http://fixit.in/keyboard.html is more useful.

i think there is a key on your keyboard which activates or deactivates the hot keys
