Remember that most oral contraceptives containe hormones that simulate pregnancy. They can often throw a HPT off. The best suggestion would be to go to your doctor (or family planning clinic) and have them perform a test. It may be that you have a kidney infection/UTI as this can also cause mild sickness and kidney pain. Also, be sure to check the side-effects of your particular brand of pills. You may not have had any up until now, but that doesn't mean they can't develop later.

You might be pregnant, and its important that you find out ASAP so you don't keep taking hormonal contraceptive pills.
First, I would go to the drug store and buy a fresh pack of home pregnancy tests. First Response is one of the most sensitive tests on the market and give a positive response sooner than other tests can detect. I personally wouldn't trust results from an expired test. I would also call the doctor and schedule an appointment.

Go to the store and buy another test. Why would you have an ept laying around anyway? Take another test and if it also comes up positive, call a dr. It isn't normal to have a positive preg. test unless you are pregnant or have something wrong like a cyst.

Don't stop taking your birth control before you find out though because most likely you are not pregnant. If you keep pressing your side it could be sore and now you would be stressed thinking you are pregnant. Just go get another one. False positives happen especially if you don't have any real symptoms of pregnancy and it was expired so...but just go get another one THEN stop taking your pill because if you aren't then it will throw you off and you would be more likely to become pregnant. Good Luck!

I would just buy a pregnancy test. If the one you used was expired, that could've altered the result. I've also noticed that when you throw the test away and you come back to it the following day, sometimes the result is positive.

Yes, you can be pregnant. The question is: Are You? TO find the answer go get a fresh ept and take it. No matter if it's positive or negative you should see a doctor.

You should definately make an appointment with your doctor. A simple blood test will give you a 100% correct answer. The pill is not 100% effective and pregnancy can still occur while on it.

The reason they don't want you using expired pregnancy test is that they can test positive when you really aren't. I wouldn't think you are but I would go buy a new test and try again.

Take another test and if you get a positive stop those pills since they may not be good for baby.
I would probably still go to the Dr. to confirm.
