I need to figure out how to uninstall my web search and still keep cursor mania!!! If you have or had this problem and were able to hide or uninstall the my web search toolbar thing, PLEASE HELP!!!

That is a spyware remove that from your add remove programs.

Yeah. It's spyware. Use stuff like Ad-Aware SE Personal. My whole family uses it.
I personally wouldn't have installed cursor mania in the first place. However, if you can get rid of My Web Search, then cursor mania is fun.

I have CursorMania, and I had the same issue. I believe that during installation, you can choose whether you want to install the toolbar or not on your browser. I think that should work, but I am not sure. If it helps, with the latest version of CursorMania, you can click on the drop down arrow where it says "My WebSearch" and you can change your default search provider to Google or Ask.com, or Yahoo!. You could also continue to try playing around with the My WebSearch toolbar options from that drop down menu and see if you have any luck. Hope this helps!

My Web Search is spyware...use the following tools to remove it (cursor mania is probalby considered spyware too, so keep that in mind when you go to remove things):

Cusia mania has spyware in it or shareware..Which are both very bad for ur pc..U should just delete it all..Get ur pc cleaned up now!!
And always read the Accept policy b-4 checking yes, because it tells u in there if it has spyware or shareware in tha program..it actually warns u that it will be installed too..
I never install bs liek that.. just mess's up ur pc..

cursor mania is spyware and is going to dump advertising on your machine, like you have found out.
Check the control panel and then add/remove programs to see if you can uninstall just the one.

spybot search and destroy will/should fix it....url is www.safer-networking.org...id also remove yur cursur thingymebob if it installed my web search then i wouldnt trust the program...
