I have to ask. Are you serious? How could you not get burned while running through a house that is on fire.

first off, never go into a burning house. second, yes you can get burnt. but, if you are inside a house on fire always drop to your hands and knees and crawl out the quickest and shortest route possible. even if the fire is not hot ehough to burn you at the time the fumes from the burning materials inside are laden with noxious materials like cyanide gas for instance. when plastics burn they give off very bad stuff that if even the heat doesnt get you chances are the smoke will. the main reason people die in house fires is smoke inhalation. but back to the original question YES you can get burned so please for my sake dont try it.

Of course you can get burnt. You never run through a fire.. you crawl out under the smoke.

Yes you can. The heat in a house fire can reach in excess of 2500 degrees f. It doesn't take long to fry you with that kind of heat.

If it was a rip-roaring fire, you wouldn't make it to the other side of the room, you'd be barbecued nearly instantly. If it was thick smoke and you inhaled, you'd be dead before you finished taking your first breath.

imagine running through a 100ft oven at 500 degrees.heat but no flames,would you get burned?
